CONTROL Resonant is an action-adventure RPG and a sequel to the original Control. It was released for PC on September 24, 2026, through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game takes place in a strange version of Manhattan. The city has been affected by supernatural forces, and many areas have become dangerous and unpredictable. Players take control of Dylan Faden, who has spent years in the hands of the Federal Bureau of Control, or FBC. After leaving his confinement, Dylan finds himself in the middle of a major crisis. His goal is not only to survive. He also needs to understand his new powers, fight dangerous enemies, and search for his sister, Jesse Faden.

The story follows Dylan Faden during a time when reality itself is changing. A mysterious cosmic force is affecting Manhattan and creating new dangers. The FBC is also struggling to control the situation. The problems that were once contained inside the Oldest House have now spread outside. Dylan becomes an important part of the fight against these threats. At the same time, he is trying to understand his own past and his connection with Jesse. The story is designed to give players plenty of mystery. You slowly learn more about the world, the FBC, Dylan, and the strange forces affecting the city.

CONTROL Resonant focuses on action, exploration, supernatural abilities, and character development. You play as Dylan from a third-person view. During your journey, you can explore different areas of Manhattan, fight enemies, discover hidden locations, and take part in story events. The game is larger in scale than the original Control. Instead of staying in one main building, players can explore different zones across a warped version of Manhattan. Remedy has also included side activities, hidden encounters, and optional discoveries.
