Iron Sky: Invasion is a space combat simulation game developed by Reality Pump Studios and published by TopWare Interactive. Inspired by the Iron Sky movie universe, the game places players in the cockpit of advanced space fighters during a desperate war to defend Earth from the technologically superior forces of the Fourth Reich.

Set in an alternate future, the remnants of the Nazi regime have secretly established a powerful military base on the Moon. After launching a full-scale invasion of Earth with advanced spacecraft and devastating weapons, humanity must unite to repel the attack. Players assume the role of an elite pilot assigned to defend orbital stations, escort allied fleets, eliminate enemy squadrons, and participate in large-scale battles across the Solar System.

Iron Sky: Invasion is played from a third-person perspective, with optional cockpit views for a more immersive simulation experience. Players pilot advanced starfighters through deep space, asteroid fields, planetary orbits, and massive battle zones while completing a wide variety of military missions.

The game focuses heavily on tactical space combat. Players engage in intense dogfights against enemy fighters, bombers, frigates, and capital ships while managing speed, shields, weapon energy, and maneuverability. Success depends on quick reflexes, intelligent positioning, and effective use of each spacecraft’s strengths.Players can pilot multiple spacecraft, each offering unique flight characteristics, armor, speed, and weapon loadouts. As missions are completed, new ships become available, allowing players to choose the best fighter for different combat situations.

A wide range of futuristic weapons can be equipped, including rapid-fire laser cannons, plasma guns, guided missiles, torpedoes, railguns, and defensive countermeasures. Upgrading weapons and ship systems improves combat effectiveness against increasingly powerful enemy forces.Mission objectives vary throughout the campaign and include escorting transport vessels, defending space stations, intercepting enemy fleets, destroying strategic installations, scouting hostile territory, and engaging in massive fleet battles. Every mission introduces new tactical challenges and rewards successful pilots with credits and valuable upgrades.

Players can improve their ships by upgrading engines, shields, weapon systems, targeting computers, and armor. These upgrades allow greater customization and help prepare for more difficult encounters later in the campaign.

The game also features dynamic space environments filled with asteroids, debris fields, satellites, orbital platforms, and large capital ships that can be used strategically during combat. Skilled pilots can use obstacles as cover while avoiding incoming enemy fire.
